Privacy policy
tinyship (operated by Aniwear LLC d/b/a tinyship) is a small business and we collect only what we need to deliver the service. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
From visitors to tinyship.net:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited (standard server logs and analytics)
- Cookies and similar identifiers used by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and Meta Pixel (our advertising measurement tool)
From subscribers:
- Name, email address, business name, and billing details (collected by Stripe at checkout — we do not directly handle credit card numbers)
- Content you provide for your website (text, photos, logos, etc.)
- Communications you send us (email, replies)
2. How we use this information
- To provide, build, and maintain your website
- To process subscription payments and send transactional emails (receipts, welcome messages, service updates)
- To respond to your questions and support requests
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve tinyship.net
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Who we share information with
We use a small set of third-party services to operate tinyship. Each receives only the data necessary for its role:
- Stripe — payment processing. Sees billing info and customer details collected at checkout.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DNS for tinyship.net and your website. Sees standard request data.
- Supabase — our internal database (subscriber records, lead tracking).
- Resend — transactional email delivery (receipts, replies).
- Google Workspace — our email inbox at tyler@tinyship.net.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement via Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
- Anthropic — AI assistance for drafting copy when building demo sites (the prompts include the business name and category, not personal information).
We do not sell your information. We share only as listed above or when required by law.
4. Cookies and tracking
tinyship.net uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. The main third-party tracker is the Meta Pixel, which lets us measure ad effectiveness. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies in settings.
5. Data retention
We retain subscriber records for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle billing, refunds, tax, and legal obligations (typically 7 years for financial records).
Site visitor data is retained per the third-party services' default policies (typically 30–90 days for raw analytics).
6. Your rights
If you live in California, the EU, the UK, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have rights including:
- The right to know what personal information we have about you
- The right to request deletion of your information
- The right to correct inaccurate information
- The right to opt out of certain uses (such as targeted advertising)
To exercise these rights, email tyler@tinyship.net. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
7. Children's privacy
tinyship is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email to subscribers.
